When Seven Moore arrived in Memphis, TN almost eight years ago to work with cosmetic giant Laura Mercier, he had no idea that his dream of becoming a makeup superstar was closer to fruition than he had ever imagined. As his reputation for flawless makeup application quickly preceded him, the 20 year old, self-taught artist from Greenwood, MS began to gain the interest of other cosmetic entities like Lancome, Bobbi Brown, Yves Saint Laurent and CHANEL. “The years that I spent behind the department store counters proved to be my best teacher;

I learned not only to be an artist for women of color, but an artist for women of any color.”

Celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Nicole Ari Parker and Krystal Myers, have all entrusted their faces to Seven. “Seven just has the touch,” says Nicole Ari Parker. “I’ve never had an artist put my lashes on and I not shed at least one tear.” Seven is a consummate professional whose attention to detail has enabled him to touch many famous faces while building a clientele of high profile professionals. He’s been noted by many local and regional publications, but his most  cherished accolade was the E.O.B  2010 Makeup Artist of the Year Award, which is voted on by fellow artists and peers in the industry.

A man of many talents, Seven’s editorial makeup and wardrobe styling have been seen in VIBE, Money and Justine magazines and featured in many local publications, including MEMPHIS Magazine, VIP Memphis and The Pink Bride to name a few.  Seven has always had a natural sense of style and an eclectic eye for beauty. Armed with a dynamic portfolio and a luxury approach to beauty, Seven is showing no signs of slowing down. His true talent was discovered while working from his dorm room at the University of Mississippi.  “I was a broke college student and all I knew was makeup, so I made it work for me.” Even then, Seven dreamed of having his makeup seen on runways and in editorial spreads around the world. And today, his dreams are still coming true!
